Risograph

A collaboration in concept, design, content and production with Rob Moss Wilson. A small town newspaper with information on the status of the town businesses during early Covid, short interviews accompanying portraits of townspeople, and creative contributions including short essays, recipes, and craft projects. Map drawn by Rob Moss Wilson.

CMY Color Tests
Letterpress printed at Swaysapce in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

I love exploring color overlays in printing using process colors (cyan, magenta, yellow). These were all made with different combinations of those 3 colors, with some ink being applyed by hand with a brayer. Texture!

CMY-esque Floral Prints
3-color Risograph printed.

These are a fun spin on CMY, or “process” color printing. I separated the images out into 3 colors which overlay each other to create the wide range of color seen.

Printed in Fluorescent Pink, Yellow, and Medium Blue.
